People type an address or pick a point, and the API returns the full address, coordinates and administrative units. A result can include both the new (two-level) and former (three-level) form of the address.

Frequently asked questions
Does the API return both former and new addresses?
Reverse geocoding with subtype=addr34 returns the address under the 34-province, two-level model; subtype=addr63 returns the 63-province, three-level address. Whether both exist depends on the record.
What order are coordinates in?
geometry.coordinates follows GeoJSON: longitude, then latitude. The reverse path takes latitude first: /reverse/{lat}:{lon}.
What are the demo key limits?
The public demo key is for evaluation and is rate-limited. Production keys are provided for the APIs, areas and traffic agreed with GMap.
